Classmates near and far,
Before we even knew what the coronavirus was, our HKS Alumni Board began discussing how we could hold an annual meeting for all alumni—an event that several other Harvard graduate school alumni bodies offer. Thus, woven into our HKS Alumni Association constitution update that passed last spring (with 95 percent support from all alumni who voted!), we included a provision for such an event.
We are now delighted to invite all alumni to our inaugural meeting, to be held online during this year’s special, weeklong virtual Reunion. Whether it is your Reunion year or not, we hope alumni from around the world will join us Friday, May 21, from 1:00 pm to 2:00 pm ET to partake in this new tradition. We look forward to recognizing the Class of 2021—which, six days ahead of their graduation, will receive a warm welcome to our alumni community, as well as celebrating the achievements of the HKS Alumni Board, regional networks, and Shared Interest Groups over the past year, and honoring this year’s Alumni Awards winners, along with sharing updates of all that comes next.
In the future, we will continue to bring together our HKS alumni family for a moment each year to honor what unites us: our shared experience as proud graduates of Harvard Kennedy School and our commitment to doing good in our world.
