The Green Team was formed in 2008 by a group of dedicated staff and students with the common goal of minimizing the school’s environmental impact and encouraging sustainable practices both on and off-campus.

The Green Team includes HKS staff and students from across the campus, and welcomes participation from the entire HKS community. The team meets throughout the year to discuss various topics pertaining to environmental and personal wellness, host guest speakers, and organize events such as Freecycles, JFK Park clean-ups, and activity challenges. The team is always open to new discussion topics, activities, and members.
