Program Overview
From toll road projects in Mexico and Pennsylvania to water and electricity systems in New Delhi, decision-makers worldwide are turning to public-private partnerships to address physical infrastructure, transportation, utility services, and more.
What is the key to successfully combining the relative strengths of both the public and private sectors while avoiding the mistakes of the past? And what unique challenges does the partnership approach produce?
Infrastructure in a Market Economy: Public-Private Partnerships in a Changing World, a 12-day, on-campus program from Harvard Kennedy School Executive Education, provides the answers. Along with participants from both industrialized and newly industrialized countries, you will learn why some partnerships succeed while others fail. You will examine which partnership models are best suited to different political and economic circumstances. And you will determine when governments can leverage market forces to achieve effective outcomes.

Developed by Harvard Kennedy School faculty, this on-campus executive program will help you develop the skills and judgment needed to create infrastructure plans that stand the test of time.
