As a Master in Public Administration in International Development (MPA/ID) student, your core curriculum includes integrated coursework in microeconomics, macroeconomics, statistics & econometrics with an emphasis on politics, governance, management, development economics, a case workshop, and a second-year seminar. You will also take a minimum of six electives, typically during your second year.  

You're also required to complete a development-related internship during the summer following your first year. In your second year, you will produce your Second Year Policy Analysis

    As an MPA/ID student, you'll complete a development-related internship, usually in a developing country.

    Second-Year Required Courses and Electives
    Grade Requirements

    You must earn a B- or better in all of your required MPA/ID courses, including the Second Year Policy Analysis (SYPA).

    Overall, you must have a B average or better for your 76 credits in order to graduate with an MPA/ID degree. These total credits must include the required courses, the SYPA, and electives.
