Sofiya Cabalquinto, Chief Communications Officer

Sofiya Cabalquinto is the chief communications officer at Harvard Kennedy School. She leads the Office of Communications and Public Affairs (OCPA), a talented and committed team of professionals who work to magnify HKS’s voice and strengthen its reputation with thought leaders, policymakers, prospective students, and the public. Together with the OCPA team, she develops and executes strategic communications programs that encompass news media relations, crisis communications, digital communications, design, publications, and marketing programs, for both internal and external audiences. Prior to joining HKS, Sofiya held senior communications positions at Emerson College, Wellesley College, and the Museum of Science (Boston). She holds a BA in English Literature from Swarthmore College and an MFA in Creative Writing from the New School.
