Housing
Is there housing available during the executive education short courses?

Please see the Housing FAQs for additional information.

Technology
Are there any requirements to bring a computer, phone, or tablet?

There are no technology requirements for executive programs, but we do ask that you bring your personal laptop or tablet to campus with you. Wireless access is provided on campus. Note that course readings and materials will be provided only in a digital format. Should you wish to have hard copies of the materials, please print them before you come to the program. Additionally, there is a business center at the hotel with access to printers and fax machines. Please check with your internet service provider to see about any special arrangements for remote access.

Attire
What is the attire for an executive program?

Dress for classes is informal. Jeans/shorts and sneakers are perfectly acceptable. Participants may be asked to bring business attire for their opening and/or closing dinner. The final program schedule (typically available approximately two weeks prior to the start of the course) will indicate if there are any attire requirements for events during your particular program.

Please note that New England weather is highly unpredictable. We recommend dressing in layers, as you never know what the day's weather will be.

Family
Can I bring my family?

HKS Executive Education programs are very intensive and are not confined to normal business hours. There are class sessions, study groups, project work, and informal group activities that take place in the early morning and evenings. We expect participants to be present at all scheduled times and free from any distractions. On that basis, Harvard Kennedy School strongly recommends that participants schedule any family visits after the completion of their program.

Gym/Fitness facilities
Are there fitness facilities available for use?

The DoubleTree Suites offers an indoor pool and whirlpool and a 24-hour Fitness Center with treadmills, ellipticals, stationary bikes, and universal weight machines.
